MEN?S VOLLEYBALL (11-3, 5-2 EIVA Tait): March 23 vs. Penn State*; March 27 at Rutgers-Newark*;
March 28 at Princeton*. *EIVA Tait match.

Juniata moved its winning streak to nine straight games as the Eagles topped Saint Francis and Vassar on the week. Juniata outlasted Saint Francis 3-2, winning by game scores of 30-20, 31-33, 30-24, 27-30, 15-10. Brian Dinning (Penn Hills/Pittsburgh) had a career night in the win, as he notched career highs with 23 kills and seven serve aces. He also hit .375 in the match and added six digs. Cordt Withum (Penn Manor/Holtwood) added 22 kills and a team-high six blocks for Juniata in the match. Ryan Genova (Antietam/Reading) pounded out 15 kills for the Eagles, and Jeremy Barndt (Souderton/Souderton) was also in double figures with 12 finishes. Juniata hit .336 as a team in the match as setter Ricky Ziegler (Northeastern/Manchester) passed out 65 assists for Juniata. Tim Cole (Pennsbury/Yardley) also notched a career high as he brought up 17 digs. Juniata then swept past Vassar 30-14, 30-14 and 30-22. Juniata had three players record seven kills as Barndt and Withum each notched seven kills with perfect 1.000 hitting percentages. Withum again led the team with six blocks. Dinning also recorded seven kills and tossed in two more aces. Matt Springer (William Allen/Allentown) finished with five kills and a team-high four aces while adding four digs. Steve Yeager (Hempfield/East Petersburg) topped the team with five digs. Derek Stanley (Manheim Township/Lancaster) added four blocks for the Juniata defense. Ziegler topped the team with 33 assists and added four digs of his own.

Juniata softball had a pair of doubleheaders postponed this past week due to inclement weather. No makeup date has been set for those games

BASEBALL (6-6, 3-1 Commonwealth): March 25 vs. Elizabethtown* (2); March 27 at Elizabethtown*. *Commonwealth Conference game.

Last week?s road doubleheader against Messiah has been rescheduled for April 20. No makeup date has been scheduled yet for the home doubleheader against Penn State-Altoona.
