If you are a current senior in high school and would like financial assistance with your travel to campus, Juniata College is ready to offer a reimbursement up to $300 for your booked travel to the area. In order to be considered for one of the reimbursements, please check back soon to fill out the Fly-In Program form. Please note that reimbursements are offered at the discretion of the Fly-In Program coordinator and are not guaranteed to all who request one.Before booking any travel, please be sure to contact our Fly-In Program coordinator. In order to search for the best possible flight, we suggest using search engines such as Google Flights and kayak.com.
University Park Airport in State College, PA (SCE) is about 45 minutes from campus
Harrisburg International Airport in Middletown, PA (MDT) is about 2 hours from campus
For those traveling from Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, or New York City
We recommend using Amtrak, as their Pennsylvanian line makes a stop in downtown Huntingdon (HGD), only a few minutes from campus.
Megabus and Greyhound also offer service to State College, and both stops are about 45 minutes from campus.
- Reimbursements will be considered throughout the year, for both daily visits and larger events.
- Prospective students who need to spend the night on campus will be hosted by a current Juniata student, and all meals will be provided by the college.
- Juniata College will pick up and drop off students at the arrival airport, train station, or bus station at no extra cost.
- While family members are welcomed on visits, only prospective students will be eligible for reimbursements.
