HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College is organizing a food drive to coordinate with the opening of the museum's latest exhibit, "Happy Warholidays," an exhibition of early Christmas-themed work by Pop Art icon Andy Warhol, that opens with a reception at 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 22 at the art museum in Carnegie Hall on the Juniata campus.

The event is free and open to the public.

In homage to Warhol during the Nov. 22 opening, visitors can place a can of Campbell's Soup underneath a Christmas tree that has been set up in the museum's rotunda. Warhol is perhaps best known for his paintings of Campbell's Soup cans. The donated cans will become part of the art exhibit and then will be donated to area food banks during the holiday season.
