MANHEIM, Pa. -- Juniata College women's soccer suffered a 4-0 loss against Elizabethtown College on Saturday at Pennsylvania Classics Turf Field.

Juniata (1-2-1) only managed two shots to Elizabethtown's (1-1-1) 17 and had three corner kick opportunities to the Blue Jays' five.

Elizabethtown scored its first goal in the 16th minute on a junior forward Laura Wingert goal assisted by freshman forward Kendra Mancino. Wingert then assisted junior forward Kayla Joseph in the 48th minute. In a free kick opportunity, junior defender Jess Mason logged a goal in the 70th minute. Sophomore forward Taylor Kreider posted the last goal of the night in the 78th minute, assisted by Wingert. Junior midfielder Kristin Eck was credited with the second assist.

Eagles' goalkeeper Gabriella Ricciardi (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) kept the Blue Jay first half advances at bay by only allowing one goal in the first 45 minutes of play the contest and registering two saves. Ricciardi logged four more saves in the second half. Senior goalkeeper Elaina Robins (York, Pa./York Suburban) played 4:22 for the Eagles and charted one save.

The Eagles resume play Tuesday, Sept. 13, at Lycoming College with kickoff slated for 4:30 p.m.
