HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College sophomore Maggie Wolenter (Audubon, N.J./Audubon) was one of six players from around the Landmark Conference named to the All-Landmark Conference First Team, when the league's all-conference squads were announced Tuesday.

Wolenter was the lone Juniata selection to the squad, which was selected by the conference's eight head coaches. The all-conference teams consist of a first and second team, with six singles players and three doubles pairings per squad.

Wolenter finished the year with a 7-10 overall record, with a 4-8 record at #2 singles and a 3-2 mark at #1 singles. She was 3-3 in Landmark Conference play, with a 2-2 league record at #1 singles. In doubles competition, Wolenter also posted a 7-10 record including a 1-5 ledger at conference play at #1 doubles. The sophomore from Audubon, N.J., is studying psychology at Juniata College.

"Maggie played a significant role for us this season at #2 singles and had tremendous success at #1 singles," said Juniata head coach Beth Bleil. "She's definitely been a contender within the Landmark Conference."

The Juniata women's tennis team finished its season with a 4-14 overall record, 1-5 in the Landmark Conference.
