KINGS POINT, N.Y. -- Juniata College freshman Lindsay Cooper (Altoona, Pa./Altoona) and senior Kasey Brough (Gardners, Pa./Carlisle) posted a pair of seventh place finishes to close out the 2008 Landmark Conference Swimming & Diving Championships, which concluded Sunday at the United States Merchant Marine Academy in Kings Point, N.Y. Cooper finished seventh in the 100 Yard Freestyle with a time of 57.07, earning seven points for the Eagles. Earlier in the day, she posted the seventh-best time in the preliminaries with a time of 57.69. Brough matched Cooper's result by finishing seventh in the 200 Yard Butterfly after posting a time of 2:32.45. That was over two seconds faster than her time of 2:34.98 in Sunday afternoon's preliminaries. Juniata finished seventh out of seven teams in the Landmark meet with 74 points. The University of Scranton won the meet with 599.50 points, followed by Catholic with 400 points. Goucher was third with 328.50 points, followed by Susquehanna (304.00), Drew (152.00), U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (144.00), and Juniata. -30-
