Strength and Conditioning Intern
Juniata College, Department of Athletics is accepting applications for a Strength and Conditioning Intern. Qualifications: Ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Exercise Science or related field and /or pursuing a Master’s degree in exercise science / fitness field of study. Candidate must possess a strong work ethic, a willingness to be open to new ideas and possess a strong desire to enter the Sports Performance field, particularly at the collegiate level. The candidate should also have a current certification, or working towards a certification with one or more of the following professional organizations: NSCA-CSCS , CSCC, USAW, plus a current CPR certification. Preferred candidates will have experience in a team training setting, be able to lead groups large and small and be able to communicate effectively with a diverse group of student athletes. Intern will be assigned tasks, duties, readings and projects related to Sports Performance. Projects and assignments must be completed in a timely manner, with the utmost responsibility, care and professionalism. Successful candidates must possess and demonstrate a strong attention to detail. This is a 10-month position with a salary range of $6,000-$10,000, plus room and board.
