The membership consists of parents of current Juniata students who are appointed by the Council officers. Members will serve on the council for a renewable two-year term not to exceed the length of their son’s/daughter’s tenure at the College. They will be expected to attend and participate in two Council meetings per academic year and actively serve on Council work groups. For additional information please contact Matthew Damschroder.
The Parents Council meets twice a year. The Fall Meeting coincides with Homecoming and Family Weekend and often will contain an Open Forum component which all parents are invited to attend. The Spring Meeting is in March and takes place in conjunction with an Enrollment Open House for prospective students. Parent Council members serve on a Parent Q&A Panel during that time.
