Randall Sawyer joined the Juniata Advancement Office in July 2024 as the Director of Major Gifts. Born and raised in the Finger Lakes Region of New York State, Randall earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from SUNY Geneseo and his Master of Arts degree from SUNY Albany. Sawyer spent the first part of his career working in New York State government, including many years on Governor George Pataki’s staff. Sawyer worked for nearly a decade at Cornell University’s Johnson School of Business where he rose to Assistant Dean of Admissions, Financial Aid, and Inclusion. Randall has worked in higher education advancement for more than a decade at great academic institutions including the United States Naval Academy, American University Washington College of Law, and the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business.
