Bekah Ford portrait

As the daughter of two Juniata alumni (Valerie Schmoyer Ford '90 and Michael Ford '82), Juniata was a part of Bekah's life starting from an early age. She remembers being toted along to Juniata football games, receiving hand-me-down Juniata sweatshirts, and hearing stories of Raft Regatta as a child. Steeped in Juniata lore since she was young, Bekah felt it was only right that she consider Juniata for her own education. She, of course, fell in love with the college and quickly immersed herself in all that Juniata had to offer. Bekah dove into her studies and earned a bachelor's in biology with the genomics certificate. She also sang with the Juniata College Concert Choir, studied abroad, and participated in many campus clubs. During her time as an undergrad, Bekah was able to travel to 10 different countries, earn both the Gilman and Goldwater scholarships, complete a research internship, serve as a Campus Tour Guide, and work in the Huntingdon community. And more than all of that, Juniata College is where she started cherished friendships and developed a deep desire to be a responsible global citizen. As the proud tagline states: Juniata College certainly changed her life. Bekah is honored to return to her alma mater as the Assistant Director of Alumni Engagement and Career Development and participate in the important work of representing Juniata College, a place she loves dearly.

Bekah lives in Huntingdon with her two roommates and friends, Dani and Adrienne. She enjoys all types of outdoor adventure, writing, and spending time with her family and friends.
