Juniata College to Host Annual Day of Giving
(Posted March 4, 2025)
HUNTINGDON, Pa. — Juniata College will host its fifth annual Day of Giving on Thursday, March 6, 2025, unifying students, alumni, faculty, staff, and friends to support the institution’s mission and student success. This 24-hour fundraising event is a celebration of philanthropy and community, with each gift helping to unlock more than $300,000 in special challenge funds.
“People who support Juniata are amazing. I think it’s great they are willing to help students out,” said Matt Bates ’25 of Newport, Pa., who is studying information technology with a secondary emphasis in management. “It allows us to focus on our education.”
Throughout the day, supporters can contribute to key areas across campus, including student scholarships, academic programs, athletics, experiential learning opportunities, and campus initiatives that make an immediate impact. Generous donors have stepped up to provide matching challenges and participation-based incentives, ensuring that every gift—no matter the size—makes a difference.
Juniata College will engage the community through social media, real-time updates, and interactive challenges throughout the day.
