2010 NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship interactive bracket

HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College field hockey team has been selected to play in the first round of the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship tournament against The College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio.

The Eagles will play Wooster at 2:00 p.m. at John P. Papp Stadium on Wednesday, Nov. 10.

Juniata field hockey was once again Landmark champion after defeating Catholic University on Saturday, 3-2. The win automatically qualified Juniata into the NCAA Division III Championship tournament.

Juniata finished undefeated in the Landmark Conference, and went 17-4 in the overall regular season. This season marks Juniata's fifth appearance in the tournament in the last seven years.

Wooster went 10-2 in the North Coast Athletic Conference and 16-5 in its overall season. Wooster comes into Wednesday's match after defeating Wittenburg University, 4-3, in their conference tournament finals.

The Eagles were one of 24 teams to receive a berth in the tournament when the complete bracket was unveiled on Monday evening.

The winner of the game will go on to play Ursinus College in Collegeville, Pa. at 11:00 a.m.
