HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College women's field hockey student athlete Paula Price (Camp Hill, Pa./East Pennsboro) has been selected to participate in the 2010 National Field Hockey Coaches Assocation Division III senior game.

The game will take place on Sunday, Nov. 21 at Christopher Newport University in Newport News, Va., at 9 a.m.

"Paula excels in big games," said Juniata head coach Caroline Gillich. "She has had the majority of our game-winning goals over the past two seasons, as well as having the game winning goals in two of our last three conference championships. Paula is a team player in passing the ball and communicating on the field to her teammates, and she also has that element of risk taking that an attacker needs to shoot and go for it for her team."

Juniata assistant field hockey coach Kim Wagner was selected to play in the game in her senior year playing field hockey for Juniata in 2007. Price has truly followed in Wagner's footsteps throughout her career, trailing Wagner for the most goals scored in Juniata history. Going into the Landmark Conference tournament Price has 49 career goals and will be aiming for her 50th career goal.

"We will count on her to go for it again and again in the championship stage of her senior year because that is what she does," Gillich added.

Other players invited to play come from Messiah College, Eastern University, Johns Hopkins University, and Landmark Conference opponent Catholic University.

Juniata field hockey will host Drew University in the semifinals of the Landmark Conference tournament on Wednesday Nov. 3, at 2:30 p.m.
