HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- A Juniata College alumnus now working as a consultant in China will give a business presentation, "Working and Living in China: Challenges and Opportunities," at 8 p.m., Monday, Oct. 4, in Room C225 in Brumbaugh Academic Center on the Juniata campus.

The lecture is free and open to the public.

J. Andrew Scott, a 2001 Juniata graduate and a consultant based in Shanghai, China, will be on campus to deliver his lecture Monday evening. On Tuesday, Oct. 5, Scott will speak in several classes, including Culture and Technology, taught by Donna Weimer, professor of communication; Cyber Marketing, taught by Marlene Burkhardt, professor of business and information technology; and a senior seminar on job preparation and pursuit, also taught by Weimer.

Scott works for an American consulting company that published a monthly business magazine, China Briefing. Based in Shanghai, he is extremely knowledgeable on how multinational corporations do business in China. In 2009, he helped a group of Juniata business students, in China on a summer study abroad experience, visit the American Chamber of Commerce and other Shanghai companies.
