HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College finished the Fall 2009 seasons ranked second in the Landmark Conference President's All-Sports Cup standings, according to the All-Sports Cup standings released on Thursday.

Juniata tallied 6.67 points at the end of the fall, after winning conference tournament and regular season championships in women's volleyball and field hockey. The Eagles also finished third in both men's and women's cross country.

Susquehanna University finished atop the All-Sports Cup standings with 7.33 points. Catholic University of America was third with 6.50 points, followed by the University of Scranton with 5.50 points.

Drew University, Moravian College, the United States Merchant Marine Academy, and Goucher College rounded out the order of finish in the All-Sports Cup standings at the end of the fall seasons.

The Landmark Presidents' All-Sports Cup is awarded based on a formula that rewards institutions for their finishes in the regular season conference standings as well as results in Landmark post-season competition. The formula also takes into account the number of sports a school sponsors.

Moravian College has won the All-Sports Cup in the each of the first two seasons of the Landmark Conference's existence.
