    Fisheries & Aquatic Sciences with a secondary emphasis in Data Science

    Nick combines his interest in aquatics and the environment with the skills and tools of data science to study systems and inform interventions to improve the natural world. "These past two summers I've worked with a professor on campus doing research and I've been able to use the data we've collected to run programs with it to see if there is trends in the data that we don't see from the raw data. For example, we have been looking at an invasive crawfish species in our local streams and throwing all of the sort of physical appearances of those crawfish into a program, I've been able to find different trends between them and the native crawfish species"
