SCRANTON, Pa. -- Juniata College took home a demanding 4-0 road win over Keystone College Thursday with three Eagle freshmen posting their first collegiate goals.

Freshman forward Shayna King (Easton, Pa./Easton Area) earned the game winner in the 15th minute when she accepted a freshman midfielder Lillian Dudek (Dowingtown, Pa./Upattinas School) pass off a senior forward Nikki Hankinson (New Baltimore, Pa./Berlin Brothersvalley) corner kick.

Sixteen minutes into the second half, Dudek put up her first collegiate mark assisted by sophomore defender Jenna Rodrigue (Manchester, In./Manchester).

The Eagles capitalized on a fast-break opportunity in the 65th minute when senior forward Aimee Radic (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon Area) centered to sophomore Paula Pryor (Westbrookville, N.Y./Burke Catholic) who found herself one-on-one with Giant keeper, Rebecca Dinelli.

The final Juniata goal was scored by freshman Lauren Liacouras (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) unassisted when she fired a shot from just inside the goalie box.

Senior keeper Elaina Robins (York, Pa./York Suburban) clinched her first collegiate win protecting the Eagles net. Robins charted 45 minutes of play and kept all Keystone (4-8-1) advances at bay. Junior Gabriella Ricciardi (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa) played the entire second 45 minutes of play and recorded one save.

The Eagles fired 33 shots at the Giant goal, forcing Dinelli to make 17 saves in 90 minutes. The Juniata defense only allowed two Keystone shots, only one of which was on-goal, in the contest. Juniata also held a 9-1 corner kick opportunity advantage over the Giants.

"It was sure good to get back into the win column. We were able to get into the attacking third often and be more lethal with our chances. We worked hard this week on finishing and it paid off," said Head Women's Soccer Coach Scott McKenzie.

The Eagles travel to Catholic University for its third Landmark Conference contest this Saturday, Oct. 15, for a 3:30 p.m. match.
