HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College women's volleyball team held its number two ranking in this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Coaches Top 25 poll, released Tuesday.

Juniata (19-2, 3-0 Landmark) checked in with 527 points and two first place votes. The Eagles trail only Wisconsin-Oshkosh, who continue to hold the top spot with 20 first place votes and 593 points. This is US-Oshkosh's fourth consecutive week atop the AVCA Division III poll.

Trailing Juniata in third place is Emory University with one first place vote and 556 points, Washington-St. Louis in fourth with 528 points and one first place vote, and Ohio Northern University in fifth place with 488 points.

Rounding out the top ten in the sixth through tenth spots are Carthage (461), Hope (431), Wittenberg (423), St. Thomas, Minn. (394), and Wisconsin-Whitewater (384).

Juniata completes its Landmark Conference slate this weekend, when it faces the University of Scranton, Susquehanna University, and Moravian College in round-robin play at Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.
