HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Greg DeMaio's second half shot was all King's College needed to defeat Juniata College, 2-0, in men's soccer action this afternoon at Winton Hill Field.

After an intense first half, the Monarchs and Eagles entered the second half scoreless. DeMaio put King's on the board when his blast from outside the 18 yard line found the upper left corner of the net in the 58th minute.

King's (9-2-0) second goal came in the 80th minute after Dan Carle was awarded a penalty kick after being fouled in the box.

Juniata outshot King's 9-6, however Monarch keeper Andrew O'Shura recorded two saves during his 90 minutes of play and kept Juniata at bay. Juniata keeper Joe Kohler (Vienna, Va./James Madison) also recorded two saves during his 90 minutes in the Eagle goal.

Juniata (5-6-0) will continue its campaign this Saturday, October 10th when it travels to Catholic to take on the Landmark Conference foe at 3 p.m.
