WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Lycoming College's Kati Shaner scored in the 89th minute of play to lift the Lady Warriors to a 1-0 win over Juniata College, Tuesday afternoon in Williamsport, Pa.

Shaner connected on her fourth shot on goal of the game with just 110 seconds remaining in regulation, taking advantage of a rebound off a prior attempt by Jessica Rae.

Lycoming (2-3-1) outshot Juniata 12-9, and edged the Eagles 5-4 on corner kicks.

Juniata's best scoring opportunities of the game came in the contest's opening minutes. The Eagles opened with a flurry of shots in the opening minutes, including an attempt by Aimee Radic (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon Area) that was stopped by Powers, and an effort by Shannon Pierce (Gilbertsville, Pa./Boyertown) that hit the post.

Juniata keeper Lauren Auster-Gussman (Lancaster, Pa./Lancaster Country Day) recorded seven saves over her 90 minutes in goal. Lycoming's Chelsea Powers and Brie Pepe evenly split the goalkeeping duties, with Powers logging saves on all three Juniata shots on goal while Pepe was credited with the win.

The Eagles (2-4) will return to the pitch on Saturday, Sept. 19, when they face Westminster College in a road contest.
