HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College took two out of three doubles matches and five out of six singles competitions to post a 7-2 win over Penn State Harrisburg, Tuesday afternoon on the Raffensperger Tennis Courts.

Junior Jarrad Silver (Bethesda, Md./Walt Whitman) led a contingent of four Juniata players who came away with both singles and doubles wins. Silver logged a 6-0, retired, win at no. 1 singles over Shawn Newlin, and teamed up with Arnab Chakrabarti (Alpharetta, Ga./Alpharetta) for an 8-3 victory at no. 1 doubles. Chakrabarti also picked up a singles win at no. 3 singles with a 7-5, 6-3 win.

Senior Casey Chew (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) logged a 6-1, 6-3 win at no. 5 singles, and then partnered with senior Aaron Rhodes (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) for a 9-7 victory over PSU-Harrisburg's Keith Lynn and Philip Tarkington. Rhodes was also victorious in singles play, pulling out a 6-4, 6-2 win at no. 4 singles.

Juniata's next match will take place Saturday, April 4, when the Eagles host Goucher College in a Landmark Conference match.
