Assistant Professor of Psychology
Juniata College’s Department of Psychology invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology position beginning Fall 2017. This is a one-year position, with a possibility for a second year, which requires expertise in applied psychology. Applied psychology includes (but is not limited to) counseling psychology, clinical psychology, or industrial-organizational psychology.
The Juniata community is dedicated to providing an academically rigorous and personally enriching liberal arts education. Our typical teaching load is 21 credits per academic year. This visiting position requires an ability to teach Introductory Psychology, Research Methods in Psychology, and other courses in the individual’s area of expertise. Applicants with a PhD are preferred, but individuals who are ABD will be considered. Review of applications will begin at the end of February. Priority will be given to applicants who have submitted all required materials by February 28, 2017. However, review will continue until the position is filled.
