Alisha Boerstler

  • Joined Juniata staff in 2016

Having grown up Johnstown, PA, Alisha is excited to return to her hometown more frequently as she works with prospective students in Cambria County. 

Alisha started college as a biomedical engineer, but her liberal arts education at Bucknell University allowed her to discover a variety of interests outside of the natural sciences including education and creative writing. After graduation, she worked for a college access non-profit in the Chicagoland area. She has been at Juniata since and enjoys the close community and natural resources and recreation that the Huntingdon area offers, including hiking, skiing, boating and swimming at Raystown Lake, and the occasional round of disc golf.
