Cost for the 2012 Guatemala program is $1,700
Tuition, home stay, three meals daily with a local family, registration fee, transportation from the airport to Quetzaltenango, some local cultural excursions, transportation to lectures, some trips within Guatemala, and an international teacher ID card.
Personal health and accident insurance (all participants are required to have insurance), round trip airfare to Guatemala, round-trip travel to the US airport, personal travel, optional courses, telephone calls, Internet cafes, passport fees, immunizations, additional meals, gifts, souvenirs, and teaching materials you purchase.
*Additional family members pay all travel expenses plus $60 per person per week to cover the cost of room and board, or they may participate in the program by paying the full program fee.
All applicants teaching in high school will be considered for scholarship funding. Please inquire for further details. Those who receive a full scholarship will have their $300 program deposit refunded upon their return.
