Huntingdon, Pa. – The Juniata College theater department will soon present She Kills Monsters, a play which has been performed across the U.S. Performances start at 7:30 p.m. on Oct. 19, 20 and 21 as well as Oct. 26, 27 and 28 in the Suzanne von Liebig Theater, Halbritter Center for Performing Arts. The event is open to the public and tickets range from free (for students) to $20.

She Kills Monsters is a celebration of the geek and warrior within all of us,” says Neal Utterback, director of the play and theater professor at Juniata. Utterback adds that the performance will includes puppetry and stage combat.

Written by Qui Nguyen, She Kills Monsters was written in 2011. Each showing at Juniata will include a costume contest. Audiences are invited to come dressed as their favorite fantasy or science fiction calendar.
