HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College Instrumental Music Department will hold its Fall Honors Music Recital at 4 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 10, in Rosenberger Auditorium in the Halbritter Center for the Performing Arts on the Juniata campus.

Admission is free and open to the public.

The Juniata Honors String Quartet will perform "Liebesgruss (Salut d'Amour)," Quartet for Strings by Edward Elgar. Elgar, a British composer. Composed the quartet as a love letter to a woman he was in love with. The German title means "Love's Greeting."

The members of the Juniata College Honors String Quartet are as follows: Claire Cohen, a freshman from Philadelphia, Pa., violin; Sophie Bell a freshman from Lewisburg, Pa., violin ; Mike Kelley '16, a senior from Vienna, Va., viola; and Hannah Lutwyche a junior from Reisterstown, Md., violoncello

Next, Jamey Brumbaugh, a sophomore from Altoona, Pa., will sing "Dreamland," by Ralph Vaughan Williams, which features lyrics by poet Christina Rossetti, and "Beautiful City," by Stephen Schwartz. "Beautiful City is from the musical "Godspell."

Rebecca Katz, a sophomore from Somerset, Pa., will perform "Unmoto di gioia" from "Le nozze di Figaro" by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, and "Someone Like You," from "Jekyll and Hyde" by Frank Wildhorn.
