Huntingdon, Pa. - Juniata College senior Jen LaCount (Westmont/Hilltop/Johnstown) has been named to the Commonwealth Conference all-conference second team for her performance as a member of the Eagles' women's basketball squad. This marks the first time that LaCount has earned all-conference recognition. Juniata has had at least one player named to the Commonwealth all-conference team each of the past four seasons.

In her senior campaign, LaCount led the Eagles in scoring, three-point shooting percentage and free-throw percentage. She was also third on the team in rebounds from her guard position. Her 11.4 points-per-game average ranked her eighth in the Commonwealth Conference, while her 36 percent three-point field goal percentage was third-best in the conference. She netted 20 points or more on three occasions, including matching her career high with 27 in her final home game. She scored in double figures on 14 occasions and was the team's high scorer nine times.

LaCount will leave the women's basketball program with her name firmly entrenched in the College Hill record books. Her 95 three-point field goals are the fourth-highest career total in school history. She also knocked down 39 threes this season, which is the fifth-highest single season total in school history. LaCount closed her career with 673 points scored, 143 assists and 257 rebounds. She shot 33 percent from three-point range for her career.

During her four seasons Juniata appeared in the Commonwealth postseason three times, and Juniata won a total of 49 games with LaCount as a member of the Eagles an average of more than 12 wins per season.
