HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College field hockey team held onto its No. 19 spot in the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) Top 20 rankings, which were unveiled today, Sept. 27.

Juniata field hockey (5-2) is coming off two victories in the previous week's play. The Eagles shutout Delaware Valley in a 6-0 win on Sept. 17 and then continued their streak on Sept. 20, posting a 4-2 victory over Wesley College.

Due to poor weather conditions, Juniata was forced to postpone their most recent game (9/23) against ranked opponent, The College of New Jersey, who holds the No. 15 spot in the poll.

Juniata is one of two Landmark Conference schools in the NFHCA poll; Catholic University is ranked 13th this week, moving up one spot from 14th in the previous week's rankings.

The Eagles will face Washington and Jefferson on Wednesday afternoon, before entering their first Landmark Conference matchup against Goucher on Saturday, Oct. 1, in Towson, Md.
