WILLIAMSPORT, Pa. -- Juniata College freshman Mackenzie Magley (Ebensburg, Pa./Central Cambria) found the back of the Lycoming College goal in the 80th minute, and that proved to be the difference as Juniata went on the road to defeat Lycoming, 2-1, Tuesday evening at Shangraw Complex.

Magley redirected a ball into the lower left corner of the Lycoming goal and past Lady Warrior keeper Sam Stropko, off a Kateln Szczur (Johnstown, Pa./Richland) corner kick. The goal was Magley's first collegiate marker, as was the assist for Szczur, and extended Juniata's lead to 2-0.

Lycoming cut the Juniata lead in half in the 85th minute. The Lady Warriors' Ashtin Wiley headed a ball past Eagle keeper Gabbi Ricciardi (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa), finishing a corner kick by Leslie Kester.

Senior Aimee Radic (Belle Vernon, Pa./Belle Vernon Area) scored Juniata's first goal in the 18th minute, tapping in a loose rebound for her second goal of the season. Alicia Snyder (Jonestown, Pa./Northern Lebanon) was credited with an assist on Radic's score.

"The result of this game was never really in doubt. It was good to get back in the win column," said Juniata head coach Scott McKenzie.

Juniata (2-2-1) outshot Lycoming (0-3-0) 18-10 over the 90 minutes, and had a 7-2 advantage in corner kick opportunities. Ricciardi finished with six saves in the Juniata goal, while Stropko and Caitlin Dougherty shared duties in the Lycoming goal and combined for 10 saves.

Juniata makes its long-awaited home debut this Saturday, Sept. 17, as it hosts King's College at 1:00 p.m. on Winton Hill Field.
