HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College Wind Symphony will perform its "Friends and Family" concert of classical folk songs and selections from the work of film composer John Williams at 3 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 10 in Rosenberger Auditorium in Oller Hall on the Juniata College campus.

The concert is free and open to the public.

The Wind Symphony will perform a variety of works during the first half of the concert, including Hanson's "Chorale and Alleluia," "Variations on a Korean Folk Song," and "Suite of Old American Dances." In the second half, the ensemble will perform "Adagio for Winds," by Elliot del Borgo, "The Blue and the Gray," a medley of Civil War songs by Clare Grundman; and an arrangement of film music written by John Williams, the composer of movie scores such as "Jaws," "Star Wars," and "E.T."

The Wind Symphony is conducted by James Latten, assistant professor of music, and is comprised of Juniata students.
