HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata College women's basketball senior Jen Hnatuck (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) earned a spot on the 2010-11 D3Hoops.com All-Mid-Atlantic Region third team, which was announced Tuesday.

Being an all-region honoree, Hnatuck now becomes a candidate for the D3Hoops.com All-America teams, to be announced Saturday, March 19.

During the 2010-11 season, Hnatuck scored a team high of 356 points across the 29 game season, averaging 12.3 per game. She also led the Eagles in free-throw percentage with an impressive 83.5% and was second on the team in rebounds with 236, averaging 8.1 per game. The season long starter was also second on the team in field goal percentage, 43.1%, and led the team in blocks with 14.

Hnatuck's efforts this season helped the Eagles to their first Landmark Conference championship in program history, as well as competing in and hosting the first and second round of the NCAA Division III Women's Basketball Championship.

Hnatuck was also part of a three-way tie for Landmark Conference Player of the Year honors this season, while also being a First team All-Landmark selection.

Across D3Hoops.com's eight national regions, 216 institutions nominated women players to be honored. Approximately 100 college sports information directors were given the task of voting for a designated number of players in their specific region.
