KINGS POINT, N.Y. -- Juniata College women's volleyball chalked up two more wins over Landmark Conference opponents in Saturday competition at the second of two Landmark Conference round robin weekends at the United States Merchant Marine Academy.

The Eagles opened play at O'Hara Hall with a 3-0 win over the University of Scranton, with set scores of 25-16, 25-20, and 26-24. Juniata ended the day with a 3-0 triumph over Moravian College, winning by set scores of 25-16, 25-20, and 25-10.

Juniata (22-3, 5-0 Landmark) hit .204 versus Scranton, with freshman setter Courtney Greenberg (Fort Myers, Fla./Fort Myers) running the offense while tallying 26 assists. Outside hitter Sarah McMichael (Norristown, Pa./Methacton) put away eight kills on 13 swings to lead the offense, while junior middle Amanda Schmidt (Boswell, Pa./North Star) had seven kills.

Libero Libby Morrison (Portland, Ore./Oregon Episcopal School) sprawled for 16 digs, while Jordan Hopper (Laguna Beach, Calif./St. Margaret's Episcopal) had 10 digs. Hopper also logged a pair of service aces, as did Shelby Cassell (Grantham, Pa./Mechanicsburg).

Against Moravian, freshman outside hitter Amy Miller (Chesapeake, Va./Western Branch) had 11 kills, while opposite Kelsey Fuller (Red Lion, Pa./Red Lion) finished with nine kills. Morrison turned up 15 digs and also had five service aces.

Juniata closes out its Landmark slate on Sunday morning when it faces Catholic University at 11:00 a.m.
