HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Juniata field hockey's Kim Amrod (Ridgefield, Conn./Ridgefield) found the back of Drew University's cage twice today, resulting in a 2-0 win to end the Rangers 3-0 Landmark Conference undefeated record on Winton Hill Field.

Amrod scored first in the 18th minute when she connected with Shauna Deschenes (Duncannon, Pa./Susquenita). She came back for round two just twelve minutes later with the assist from Jacqueline Hoozemans (Delgauw, The Netherlands/Stanislaus College).

Caroline Phillips (Wilmington, Del./Concord), Caitlyn Bowman (Seven Valleys, Pa./Dallastown) and Sam Smith (East Stroudsburg, Pa./East Stroudsburg) tallied two shots each on offense.

Defensively, Molly Snyder (Boalsburg, Pa./State College Area), Jill McNeish (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield Area) and Megan McGlone (Coopersburg, Pa./Southern Lehigh) played a crucial role in shutting out the Rangers.

Juniata goalie Moira Nugent (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) recorded five saves in goal in all 70 minutes while Christiana Carlini made one save for the Rangers and was charged with two goals allowed.

The shots were dead even between each team, totaling 9-9.
