SELINSGROVE, Pa. -- The Juniata College women's volleyball team wasted no time in starting off their Landmark Conference round robin play with a win, sweeping Goucher College 3-0 Saturday afternoon at Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove, Pa.

Set scores for the match were 25-13, 25-16, and 25-19.

Taylor Harpster (Philipsburg, Pa./Philipsburg-Osceola) led the Eagles with 12 kills. Libero Libby Morrison (Portland, Ore./Oregon Episcopal School) contributed to the win with 16 digs. Sophomore Madison Petsos (Portsmouth, Va./Norfolk Collegiate) helped Juniata's cause with ten kills to go along with two blocks. Sarah McMichael (Norristown, Pa./Methacton) also tallied two blocks on defense.

Juniata will continue Landmark Conference round-robin play at Susquehanna University tomorrow, Sunday, October 3 against U.S. Merchant Marine Academy. The match is slated for a 10:00 am start.
