SWARTHMORE, Pa. -- A handful of Juniata College track and field athletes continued to push to for qualifying marks for the NCAA Division III Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Monday's Swarthmore College Last Chance meet, held at Swarthmore's Walter T. Skallerup, Jr. Track.

Senior TJ Breya (McClure, Pa./East Juniata) finished third in the men's 400m dash with a time of 53.65 seconds, trailing only a pair of runners from Villanova University. The mark was a new personal best for Breya, and improved upon his NCAA provisional qualifying mark.

In the javelin competition, senior Ryan Johnson (Mountain Top, Pa./Crestwood) was fifth with a throw of 54.36m (178-04), one spot ahead of Dustin Drake (Mount Union, Pa./Mount Union) in sixth with a mark of 54.04m (177-03).

Sophomore Kristyn Ginter (Tyrone, Pa./Bellwood-Antis) was sixth in the women's javelin competition, with her throw of 37.12m (121-09).
