SELINSGROVE, Pa. - The Juniata College women's swim team traveled to Susquehanna University and took on two teams in its second tri-meet of the season. They dropped a 90-21 decision to the Crusaders and an 82-31 loss to McDaniel College.

The 200-yard medley relay team of freshman Mel Bresnahan (Elms Grove, Wis./Brookfield East), sophomores Lindsay Cooper (Altoona, Pa./Altoona), Evan Beatty (Hershey, Pa./Hershey), and Marysa Milinichick (Whitehall, Pa./Whitehall) finished second, scoring a time of 2:09.39.

Bresnahan also turned in a pair of third place finishes, first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:09.14 and again in the 200-yard backstroke. Her 200-yard backstroke time of 2:27.63 was the eighth fastest time in program history.

The team next travels to Chatham University to take part in the Chatham University Invitational next Saturday, Nov. 7. The first event is slated to start at 2:00 p.m.
