WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The Juniata College women's volleyball team completed a season sweep of the Landmark Conference with a 3-0 win over Moravian College, Sunday afternoon at Catholic University's DuFour Center in Washington, D.C.

Juniata (22-4) finishes its Landmark slate with a perfect 6-0 record, extending its consecutive unbeaten streak against conference opponents to 313 matches dating back to the 1981 season. The Eagles clinched the top seed and right to host the final two rounds of this year's Landmark Conference Tournament with a pair of conference wins on Saturday.

Senior Michelle Morchesky (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield Area) paced the Juniata offense against Moravian with nine kills on 17 swings, while junior Sam Bristol (Lone Tree, Colo./Highlands Ranch) tacked on seven kills on 15 swings. Juniata hit .415 for the match, with junior setters Alexa Ebert (Titusville, Pa./Titusville) and Steph Strauss (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills) recording 23 and 14 assists respectively.

Freshman Shelby Cassell (Grantham, Pa./Mechanicsburg) turned up a team-high 11 digs for the Eagles, with Molly Sollenberger (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) logging eight digs.

Juniata was outblocked by Moravian, 7.0 to 4.5, with newcomer Madison Petsos (Portsmouth, Va./Norfolk Collegiate) leading the Eagles with two total blocks.

Moravian (12-16, 2-4 Landmark) was held to just .147 hitting for the match, with Samantha Savite pacing the offense with six kills.

Juniata returns home for its next four matches, starting with Tuesday night's match against Division II California University of Pennsylvania.
