HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- The Juniata College theatre department will present staged reading of original plays by current and former Juniata students at 7:30 p.m. April 18 and 19 in Rosenberger Auditorium in Oller Hall on the Juniata campus.

The festival is free and open to the public.

The festival will showcase plays by Juniata students Sean Mahoney, a sophomore from Huntingdon, and Rebecca Goodall, a senior from Calvin, Pa. Two plays by Juniata alumni also will be performed. The two alumni playwrights are Rebecca Berdar, a 1999 graduate and now a reporter at the Huntingdon Daily News, and Abby Suchting, a 2001 graduate.

In addition, the festival will showcase a tribute to Pennsylvania-born movie star Jimmy Stewart, a native of Indiana, Pa. Juniata alumnus Chris Collins, a 1984 graduate and a medical representative for the Knoll Pharmaceutical Co., will perform the Stewart tribute.
