ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. -- One win in doubles and a pair of singles victories wasn't quite enough to get past Elizabethtown College, as the Juniata College men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 decision to the Blue Jays on Thursday afternoon.

Seniors Jonathan Skoner (Pittsburgh, Pa./Central Catholic) and Aaron Rhodes (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) teamed up for Juniata's only win in doubles, an 8-5 victory over Elizabethtown's Brok Walker and Jon van den Ende.

Rhodes went on to post a win in his no. 5 singles match as well, with a 0-6, 6-1, 6-2 decision over van den Ende. Senior Casey Chew (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville) posted Juniata's remaining win in singles play, with a 6-1, 6-0 decision at no. 6 singles over the Blue Jays' Brian Osbourn.

Juniata fell to 11-6 with the loss, and will return to the court on Saturday, April 25, when it faces Moravian College in its regular season finale in Bethlehem, Pa.
