MADISON, N.J. -- Junior Sarah Eckard (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Hollidaysburg) finished the day with four hits to lead Juniata College to a sweep of Drew University, in a Landmark Conference doubleheader at Drew's Ranger Stadium. Juniata captured the first game 6-5, and completed the day with a 5-2 victory over the Rangers.

In the first game, Eckard's two-out, three-run double in the sixth inning scored all three Juniata runs of the frame, breaking a 2-2 tie. The Eagles tacked on a single run, what proved to be the game winner, when Rachel Nagy (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) reached on a leadoff double, and scored on Lindsay Darchicourt's (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) one-out double.

Drew countered with three runs in the bottom of the seventh, after opening the inning with three singles. Juniata starter Alyssa Erb (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Hollidaysburg) finally closed out the Rangers with a ground out to first and a fly ball to left field to record the complete game win.

In game two, Juniata plated the game winning run on Melissa Moffat's (Oceanside, Calif./Oceanside) single, scoring Liz Schmitt (Knoxville, Tenn./H. Frank Carey). The Eagles padded their lead on RBI singles by Rachel Nagy and Stacy Nagy (Millerton, Pa./Troy) in the seventh.

Freshman Pam Heinrichs (Spring Mills, Pa./Penns Valley) logged the complete game win in game two, allowing just two runs on eight hits.

Juniata returns to action on Monday, March 23, when it hosts St. Vincent College at 3:00 p.m. on Weis Field.
