HUNTINGDON, Pa. -- Four Juniata College competitors enjoyed both singles and doubles victories to lead the Eagles to a 7-2 win over the University of Scranton, in Landmark Conference women's tennis on Saturday at the Raffensperger Tennis Courts.

Junior Amanda Fontana (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) opened the day by teaming with Katie Healy (Pittsburgh, Pa./Mt. Lebanon) for an 8-3 win over Scranton's Caroline Curtin and Moira McGinn at no. 1 doubles. Fontana completed the day with a 6-2, 6-2, win over Deirdre Wylie at no. 1 singles, while Healy took her no. 2 singles match by a 6-4, 4-6, 10-5 score over Danielle Wylie.

Junior Maggie Wolenter (Audubon, N.J./Audubon) paired with Caroline Weisser (York, Pa./York Suburban) for an 8-4 win at no. 2 doubles, while Jenny Wang (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) and Lauren Perow (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) logged an 8-6 win at no. 3 doubles.

Both Wolenter and Perow won their respective singles matches - Wolenter by a 7-3, 6-2, score at no. 3 singles over the Lady Royals' Kirsten Wentworth, while Perow had a 6-0, 6-2, win over Scranton's Kelly Costello at no. 5 singles.
