LATROBE, Pa. -- The Juniata College women's volleyball team improved its record to 14-1 with a 3-0 victory over St. Vincent College, Thursday night in Latrobe, Pa.

Set scores were 25-7, 25-10, and 27-25.

Senior Amber Thomas (Ephrata, Pa./Conestoga Valley) led the Eagles with 11 kills, while newcomer Drew Barnhart (Titusville, Pa./Titusville) and senior Cassie Dickmann (Kennett Square, Pa./Unionville) each added eight kills.

Beth Kozak (Huntingdon, Pa./Huntingdon Area) set the offense with 22 assists, while Steph Strauss (Penn Hills, Pa./Penn Hills) logged 20 assists.

Defensively, Megan Sollenberger (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) had 19 digs, while Erin Albert (Philipsburg, Pa./Philipsburg-Osceola) and Paige Johnston (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) each recorded a pair of blocks. Collin Wallace (West Chester, Pa./West Chester East) and Michelle Morchesky (Greensburg, Pa./Hempfield) led the Eagles on service with two aces each.

"We dominated the first two games and played well, and that was fun," said Juniata head coach Larry Bock. "We had to come from behind in the third game, and that was kind of fun too."

Juniata (14-1, 3-0 Landmark) will face its final three Landmark Conference opponents of the season this Saturday and Sunday, as the Eagles do battle with the University of Scranton, Moravian College, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at the final conference round-robin weekend, which is being hosted in Kings Point, N.Y.
