LEWISBURG, Pa. - On a cold and wet day against some top Division I competition the Juniata College men\'s and women\'s track teams produced numerous strong finishes at the non-scored Bucknell Outdoor Classic Saturday afternoon. The Juniata women finished the meet with eight top-25 individual performances on the second day of the event, while the men had six such efforts. The Juniata men did well in the sprints as Randy Anderson (DuBois/DuBois) turned in a pair of top-10 finishes. He placed third in the 100 with a time of 10.93, and then was also third in the 200 by running 22.44. TJ Breya (East Juniata/McClure) was 17th in the 400 hurdles with a mark of 57.17 and his time of 15.99 was good for 19th place in the 110 hurdles. Tripp Rudolph (Upper St. Clair/Pittsburgh) was 24th in the 800 and crossed the line in 1:57.38. Matthew Booth (Allentown Central Catholic/Allentown) placed 17th in the triple jump with a best effort of 12.65 meters. Sophomore Kelsey Buffenmyer (Donegal/Mount Joy) earned a victory in the high jump with a leap of 1.66 meters and was also 14th in the 100 hurdles and 17th in the long jump on the day. Maggie Wolenter (Audubon/Audubon, N.J.) had the only other top-10 finish on the afternoon as her toss of 34.95 meters earned her eighth place in the javelin. Juniata then got several strong efforts on the track. Melissa Johnson (John F. Kennedy/Colonia, N.J.) was 15th in the 100 hurdles behind Buffenmyer and also placed 17th in the 400 hurdles. Cassie Majocha (Burrell/Upper Burrell) was a place in front of her in 16th position in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:09.30. Rounding out the top-25 performances was an 18th-place finish for Caitlin Hinson (Danville/Danville) in the 100 as she covered the distance in a time of 13.10. Juniata will be in action again next Saturday at the Greyhound Invitational hosted by Moravian College. ###
