Case Western Reserve 4, Juniata 0 CLEVELAND, Ohio - For 45 minutes the Juniata menâ??s soccer team hung with twenty second-ranked Case Western Reserve trailing just 1-0 at the half, but three goals in a fifteen minute span in the second half were too much for the Eagles as they dropped a non-conference game Saturday afternoon. The Eagles now fall to 5-11 on the season, while Case Western improves to 13-2-1 on the season. Juniata kept Case Western off the scoreboard for the first 24 minutes of the game but the home team got on the board at the 25:32 minute mark when Matt Paglia scored, on an assist from Kevin Bigart. Freshman goalkeeper Brian Trinclisti (Lewistown/Lewistown) would keep the game close through the rest of the half as he made five saves, including stopping a Case Western penalty kick, and Juniata\'s defense kept the home team at-bay. Trinclisti finished with ten saves in the match, five in each half, and had another stop of a Case Western penalty kick in the second half. On the other side goalie Chad Skidmore made one save in the contest for Case Western. Juniata would stay within striking distance until a Case Western goal in the 01st minute opened up the game. Brian Evans struck first has he knocked home an unassisted goal at the 70:07 mark to extend Case Westernâ??s lead to 2-0. The home team would add two more goals in the in 77th and 86th minute to close the scoring at 4-0. Colten Bingham got the third on a pass from RJ French and French then ended the scoring when he took a pass from Pranav Lohitsa to score Case Western fourth and final tally of the afternoon. Juniata finished with seven shots in the match, while Case finished with 24 shots. The Eagles are back in action on Tuesday when they take on another ranked foe as conference opponent Messiah comes to Huntingdon. ###
