HUNTINGDON, Pa. â?? A tough Grove City College team prevented the Juniata College women\'s tennis team from capturing a victory in its final match of the 2006 season as the Eagles fell to the visiting Wolverines 8-1 Friday afternoon. Juniata closes the season with a record of 7-5, while Grove City raised its mark to 4-3. Juniata\'s seven victories matches its total from the 2005 season and marks the third-highest win total in the program\'s history. It is just the sixth time in the 36-year history of the program that the Eagles have reached seven wins in a season. But on this day Grove City had the answers as Juniata earned one singles win among the day\'s matches. Sophomore Aggie Kwon (Cumberland Valley/Enola) earned a hard-fought 4-6, 6-2, 12-10 victory for Juniata at the fourth singles spot to claim the lone point for the Blue and Gold. Though Juniata\'s team regular-season schedule is now completed, the Eagles will compete at the MASCAC Individual and Doubles Championships which will be held October 21-22. ###
