HUNTINGDON, Pa.—Juniata College will welcome Amy Hanauer, executive director of the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy (ITEP) and of Citizens for Tax Justice (CTJ), who will present the lecture “Why Taxes Matter to Equity and the Economy” on Tuesday, March 26, at 7 p.m. The talk will be held in the Sill Board Room, located on the second floor of the von Liebig Center for Science at Juniata College.

Spring Observatory Nights Scheduled at Juniata College

HUNTINGDON, Pa.—Seasoned stargazers and night sky novices are invited to a series of Observatory Nights hosted by Juniata College at the Paul E. Hickes Observatory behind Brumbaugh Academic Center. Held “open house” style, visitors are welcome between 8 and 10 p.m. on Mondays on April 1, 15, 29, and May 6.
